Friday Evening Jitney

League Information

If you are looking for another evening of curling with the opportunity to explore other aspects of the game in  a light hearted atmosphere, then this league may be just right for you.

All members can attend our Jitney, which starts at 7pm on each Friday evening.  This is a drop in league, so you can pick and choose the Fridays that you want to curl, but we would love to see you each Friday. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior so teams can be created.

Prior to the start of the game, each curler will select the position that they want to play that evening.  If you usually play front-end, perhaps you would like to try being the vice or skip one of the weeks.  The choice is yours!  From week to week, the teams are never the same.

This is a great opportunity for new curlers to continue to improve their skills in this very informal game. 

The games are usually 8 ends and then we gather in the lounge for drinks and conversation.

League News

The New Year is off to a great start. A few new curlers have come out to give it a try as well as our regular crew. It's a perfect fun league to come out with no skill limitations or commitment. Just enjoy the evening with great tunes playing on the ice and great libations in the After 8 Lounge afterwards!
