Friday Night Jitney Christmas Wrap Up!

What a fun night. Although the weather was a bit blustery, we managed to get in a quick 6 ends then enjoyed some snacks and fellowship....and lots of laughs. It's a great opportunity for anyone at any skill level to come out and have some fun while enjoying great tunes on the ice!

Great fun in Markdale!

These club members put on a great show at the Markdale Olympic Theme  Bonspiel Saturday Nov 22nd. Unfortunately they came up short against Team France but the Jamaican BobSled Curling Team certainly know how to have fun! Skip: Judith Crawford, Vice: Cassie Clair, Second, Nancy Keith and Lead Janice Clair. Well done everyone!

Sticks & Stones
was a great success!

Thank you to everyone who helped support our Sticks & Stones Golf/Curling Fundraiser! The event was well attended and a great day was had by all! A special thank you to the Sticks & Stones Committee who worked very hard to make this event the success it was, well done!

The STAYMORE CUP remains home at The Stayner Curling Club!

The Staymore Cup was played March 5th in Creemore this year. A great job keeping the cup at home by all members that  participated in this years Staymore Cup! 

Last Years Battle of the Sticks Cashspiel was another great success!

Thanks to John Bontje and Harry Hodgins for organizing another great event with our 2 stick Battle of the Sticks Cashspiel. There was lots of action and very close games. The food was spectacular with a great selection of baked goods for breakfast and a delicious Turkey lunch with Apple Pie and Ice Cream provided by Maxine and June! Well done lady's, a fabulous job as usual. The winners of Draw A were Ross Turnbull and Lawrence Lamarche, well done gentlemen! The winners of Draw B were John Bontje and his brother-in-law Jim Buie visiting from Nova Scotia putting on an epic performance!

Steakilicious 2025 was a Meaty good time!

This year Mother Nature played in our favour and provided a beautiful sunny mild day to host this great Bonspiel. 16 teams in 2 draws competed for the titles! Lots of competition, laughs and fellowship resulted in everyone enjoying a great BBQ'd steak dinner. Thank you to our wonderful volunteers who worked tirelessly in the kitchen and behind the scenes to bring you this great event. Of course our meat sponsor "12 Farms" Stayner Meat Packers and morning coffee and goodies by Stayner Tim Horton's both deserve a big thank you for your continued support of our club. Theo Cook our valued Ice Maker deserves a big thanks as well for providing a great compliment of ice for us all day.
